Oski's Valentine's Day Wish?

With Valentine’s Day just passed, we’re still feeling the love for Cal halfway through our Housing the Bears campaign. On behalf of Cal Student Philanthropy (CSP) and the Basic Needs Center (BNC), here’s where we are:

So far, we’ve raised $1,474 for the BNC’s Holistic Fund over 17 days, crowdfunding about 29 percent of our $5,000 goal, which is amazing! Thank you so much to everyone who's given and spread the word — this money lets students worry less about making rent and focus more on academic life. But we still need your help to reach our goal.

How can I help?

  • You can pay it forward with a gift of any size through our page
  • Share our link — crowdfund.berkeley.edu/csp — on social media
    • Per GoFundMe, "When someone shares a fundraiser with their network just once, it results in an average of $13 more in donations."
  • Tell your friends and spread the love for Cal!

Show some love to Housing the Bears!

Does my support make a difference? Yes!

  • Over 22.8 percent of Berkeley undergraduates have reported housing insecurity, and 10 percent have experienced homelessness.
  • The BNC's Holistic Fund (and other resources, which we also love) has helped countless students already, and we want more students to get the support they need.
  • Every dollar and every share makes a difference!
