Housing the Bears launches now!!
Welcome back to campus, Bears!! We're so hyped to be back and even more excited to announce our Housing the Bears campaign, a partnership between the Basic Needs Center (BNC) and Cal Student Philanthropy.
What's that about? We're crowdfunding for the BNC's Holistic Fund, which assists students with paying rent and security deposits. This is one of the Center's resources (which you should check out!).
Why is this important? Being a Cal student is hard enough, and we believe no students should have to worry about making rent. The BNC already does great work for students, so we want to make sure they can help even more of us. So, we're asking students and the greater Cal community to meet and beat our goal of $5,000 for Housing the Bears!
How can I help? So many ways!
- Make a gift today at our crowdfunding page
- We ask for a $10 minimum due to processing fees
- Share our campaign on social media
- Show some love to the BNC & CSP on social media
- It'll help us get the word out even more
- Tell your friends about the campaign and the BNC
